The Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) tournament has ended in various regions. Now, the Mobile Legends team is preparing to continue fighting in other prestigious tournaments. One of them is the MPL Invitational 2021 or MPLI.

The MPLI tournament itself is the result of a collaboration with One Esports. Last year, this tournament was held and Indonesia through the Alter Ego team came out as champion. This year, interestingly, the MPL Invitational tournament still uses the same mode, namely Captain Draft, so that the battles are exciting and fierce.

For those who don't know, maybe they are still confused about Captain Draft mode. The Captain Draft itself will allow MPL champions in each region to choose which team may be present in their bracket. The MPL champions themselves will only have to wait for their chosen team to enter the quarter-finals to fight for a place in the semifinals.

In the previous season, RRQ Hoshi played a Captain Draft strategy to place the strongest teams in his bracket. As a result, last year's MPL Invitational was so fierce and interesting to watch.

To do the drafting themselves, later the team captains from the MPL champions in each region will determine alternately until the process is complete. This method is of course very interesting considering that every team captain is forced to think in determining the opponent to be faced in order to qualify for the next round.
