Appearing consistent and mighty from the first game to the last game, the Indonesian National Esports Team in the Free Fire number managed to win gold and silver medals at the same time in the largest multi-sport event in Southeast Asia, the SEA Games Hanoi 2021. Another medal, namely bronze, was won by Thai Team 2.

Team Indonesia 1 nicknamed Team Garuda, which was staffed by Ibnu Nasir Ramdani, Nur Ivaldi Fajar, Richard William Manurung, Shahin Taskhir and Viktor Innosensius, managed to maintain their position as leader of the standings which they had recorded since the first match on May 13 until the last match on May 15 which took place lively at the National Convention Center Hanoi. With Booyah 3 times, Kill Points 123 and Total Points 236, Team Indonesia 1 successfully won the gold medal and presented it to Indonesia.

Indonesia's dominance in the Free Fire number in the Esports sport was confirmed by the silver medal won by Team Indonesia 2, nicknamed the Rajawali Team. The team which was strengthened by Agus Suparman, Muhammad Fikri Alief Pratama, Fafli Aidil Fitrah, Raihan Maghfur, Rhama Satria recorded Booyah 1 time, Kill Points 108, and Total Points 198.

Rafli Aidil Fitrah from Team Indonesia 2 emerged as MVP with 14494 damage and 34 kills. in third position, Shahin from Team Indonesia 1 in fourth place with damage of 15047 and Kills 31, and Cosq from Team Thailand 1 in fifth place with damage of 13613 and Kills 31.

The Manager of the National Esports Team, Tjahjono Prasetyanto, expressed his gratitude and pride for the success of the National Esports Team in dominating the Free Fire match numbers so that they were able to present the best achievements for Indonesia.

This victory is of course very meaningful in strengthening the spirit and confidence of the National Esports Team in the following matches. The National Esports Team will continue to compete to realize the next hope in the individual and team PUBG Mobile matches, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), and Crossfire," said Tjahjono.

Meanwhile, one of Indonesia's golden heroes in the Free Fire number, Richard William Manurung said that the key to the victory achieved by both the Garuda and Rajawali Teams was not only due to the implementation of the right strategy during the match, but also due to thorough preparation since the last National Training. they are ready both technically and non-technically, such as physically and mentally.
