I can't believe the journey of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) has been running for 4 years. Currently, Moonton is preparing MPL ID Season 9 which will be held in the near future. Of course, there are many surprises this season, such as the return of Lemon at RRQ Hoshi and new faces from big teams like Alter Ego to Evos.

The MPL Indonesia tournament itself is listed as one of the MOBA tournaments with the most views. Based on Esports Charts, the prestigious tournament in its 8th season reached 2.39 million simultaneous viewers. That's a pretty fantastic number, isn't it?

For this season, there are 8 teams that will compete in this prestigious Mobile Legends league, including Evos Legends, Geek Fams ID, Alter Ego, Aurafire, ONIC Esports, RRQ Hoshi and Rebellion. MPL ID Season 9 itself will be held from February 18 to April 24, 2022.

Interestingly, this season's MPL provides a new experience for its fans. Not only open and can be seen in general, this tournament can also be seen in Cinepolis cinemas. This tournament will also be exciting compared to the previous season where there will be 8 teams ready to fight for the title as King of the Galaxy with a total prize of USD 300 or equivalent to 4.5 billion.

Azwin Nugraha as PR Manager of Esports Moonton Indonesia said that for this season there would be three surprises. This tournament will run offline and is open to the public and can be seen in cinemas. However, according to him, this offline event will be carried out by complying with existing regulations from the government and strong health protocols. He also said that Moonton would cooperate with relevant agencies such as the Covid Task Force to the Satpol PP.
