To treat gamers' curiosity about this tournament, James as Director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports Tencent spoke up. Through a video, James claimed that the PMGC (PUBG Mobile Global Championship) tournament would be the biggest tournament in PUBG Mobile esports history.

James' statement is of course very reasonable. How not, this tournament will compete for a total prize of 6 million USD or the equivalent of 86 billion. This event itself will take place from November to December 2021 for the league round and for the Grand Final to be held in January 2022.

The slot system itself is almost the same as the previous PMGC where the teams competing in this tournament are taken from the PUBG Mobile Pro League tournament which has the most total points. Not only that, the top teams that won in several regional events such as PMPL SEA are also entitled to participate in the PMGC event.
