The historical record was successfully carved by the Indonesian contingent who competed in the eSports branch for the PUBG MOBILE game. The Indonesian PUBG MOBILE national team won a silver medal in the Solo category and a gold medal in the Team category at the 2021 Sea Games, Hanoi, Vietnam.

The silver medal in the Solo category was won by Alan Raynold Kumaseh. Meanwhile, the gold medal was won by the Indonesia 2 team, which relied on a combination of SvafVel, Luxxy, GenFos, Jayden, S1nyo and Ryzen.

"Congratulations on the 2 medals won by the PUBG MOBILE Indonesia National Team. We are proud of the achievement of the PUBG MOBILE Indonesia National Team which has made the nation proud. Hopefully it can be an inspiration for others and the medal tradition can continue in the next event," said Elvarica Noviyanti, Product Manager of PUBG MOBILE Indonesia.

The contribution of two medals from the PUBG MOBILE Indonesia national team confirmed the position of the Indonesian contingent in third place in the 2021 Sea Games final standings with 69 gold, 92 silver and 80 bronze medals.

The success of winning silver and gold medals was dramatic, after the PUBG MOBILE Indonesia national team brilliantly made two extraordinary comebacks in the Solo and Team categories.

The spotlight was on Alan Raynold Kumaseh (Alan) in the Solo category and Made Bagus Prabaswara (Luxxy) in the Team category. Both of them displayed a brilliant performance that managed to secure a medal for Indonesia at the 2021 Sea Games.
After appearing less convincing on the first day of the Solo category, Alan as one of the PUBG MOBILE Indonesia national team players showed an extraordinary performance on the second day.

Although it was not so hot in the first two games, the Indonesian representatives immediately stung in the last three games. Alan won Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (WWCD) after winning the sibling battle with Potato and Jayden.

The fourth game again belongs to Indonesia. This time it was Potato's turn to win the WWCD after defeating the representative of Malaysia, uHigh.

In the closing game, Alan again appeared mighty and won WWCD. This victory ensured Alan won a silver medal at the 2021 Sea Games. Alan, who is also from the Genesis Dogma GIDS team, collected a total of 102 points, two points different from the Vietnamese representative who secured a gold medal with a total of 104 points.
A dramatic victory was also achieved by the Indonesian PUBG MOBILE National Team in the Team category after undergoing a dramatic battle in the final round which was held for three days, on 20-22 May 2022. Luxxy was one of the players who put on a performance and amazed many people with his comeback.

Even though they did not get WWCD at all in the final round which was held for 15 rounds, the Indonesian PUBG MOBILE National Team from the Team category managed to win a gold medal.

Appearing less than optimal in the final round of the first day, the PUBG MOBILE Indonesia national team game began to improve on the 2nd day. Slowly but surely, the Indonesia 2 team started to collect points and took over the top position from Vietnam 1.

Armed with a point advantage, the Indonesia 2 team was required to maintain a point difference from Vietnam 1 in order to bring home the gold medal. However, Indonesia had to go through a dramatic match on the last day of the final round.

Entering the final round, three players from Indonesia 2 had to fall and leave Luxxy alone. The extraordinary comeback moment for the Indonesian PUBG MOBILE National Team occurred when the remaining Luxxy alone managed to overthrow two Vietnamese players who were rushing.

While the remaining Vietnam 1 team also had to surrender at the hands of other countries, Luxxy was able to maintain its position up to the top five. With this result, Indonesia's collection of 163 points is no longer overtaken by Vietnam, which has 156 points, and the anthem Indonesia Raya is playing in Hanoi.
