This year's SEA Games 2021 Vietnam is ready to be held. The sporting event will compete in 10 Esports Sports, of which medals are certainly up for grabs. The 10 esports branches include Mobile Legends, PUBG Mobile – Team, PUBG Mobile – Solo, Free Fire, Arena of Valor, League of Legends Wild Rift – Men, League of Legends Wild Rift – Women, FIFA Online 4, League of Legends ( PC) and Crossfire.

The Executive Board of Esports Indonesia has certainly prepared themselves to prepare a row of athletes who will compete in this match. Therefore, Garudaku as the official esports platform from PBESI opened the registration session for the Open Qualification of the National Esports Championship. The open qualification will take place online and can be followed by all Indonesian athletes and esports teams.

The following are the requirements for open qualification registration for the Esports Championship:

- Open to the public and Indonesian citizens.
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Have proof of identity to indicate Indonesian citizens (KTP, KK, KIA, and so on)

- Agree to follow the National Championship rules that have been set

- League of Legends Wild Rift Women (128 slots): 11 – 13 February 2022 (Final 13 February, 18:30 WIB)
- Free Fire (4608 slots): 11 – 16 February 2022 (Final 13 & 14 February, 18.30 WIB)
- FIFA Online 4 (256 slots): 16 – 18 February 2022 (Final 18 February, 18.30 WIB)
- PUBG M Team (4096 slots): 15 – 20 February 2022 (Final 19 & 20 February, 12.00 WIB)
- Arena of Valor (128 slots): 17 – 19 February 2022 (Final 19 February, 18:30 WIB)
- Mobile Legends (2048 slots): 16 – 20 February 2022 (Final 20 February, 18.30 WIB)

For athletes who will later join the National Esports Training, their abilities and skills will be trained in order to get the best performance. The Pelatnas phase will also be the final stage of selection in determining the composition of the Indonesian Esports National Team at the upcoming 2021 SEA Games.
