Wild Rift Icon Global Championship 2022, a grand esports tournament is ready to be held at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Center, Singapore. This tournament will be held in the Play-in round starting from June 14, and the peak will be held on July 9, 2022.

The Icon Global Championship 2022 tournament itself will bring together 24 top Wild Rift teams from around the world. Dozens of these teams will compete for a total prize of USD 2,000,000 or the equivalent of 29 billion while winning the title as world champions.

Eight of the participating teams will advance to the preliminary round to the group stage while the rest, will fight first in the Play In round.

The Suntec Convention and Exhibition Center itself is not a foreign location for Wild Rift lovers. Because, previously the Wild Rift: Horizon Cup event itself was held at the same location. At that time, Da Kun Gaming, which was a representative team from China, won the title after defeating Thunder Talk Gaming.

Previously, the Icon Global Championship 2022 tournament was planned to be held outside Southeast Asia. Precisely in the City of Madrid, Spain. However, the plan was canceled due to problems related to tight pandemic regulations.
