Yi Sun Shin or often referred to as YSS is one of the Assassin/Marksman heroes in the Mobile Legends game. This hero is often relied on to be a jungler or core in the previous META Mobile Legends game.

But unfortunately, now YSS is less popular so it is rarely picked or banned in Rank Mobile Legends. In fact, even in tournaments this one hero is rarely seen. In Rank alone, the pick rate from YSS is only 0.42%. Of course this number is very small.

The first reason is of course because YSS is not a thin META jungler like Assassin or Marksman. For currently objective heroes, thick heroes such as jungler tanks or junglers with build tanks complete with mustard emblems are superior.

The second reason is that YSS is very weak in the early game. Roamers in META Mobile Legends are currently quite chaotic at the beginning of the game. Call it Franco, Natalia and Selena. The three of them are heroes who are so noisy when the game starts.

Because the current META roamers are so riotous, of course it will make YSS difficult when doing farming, making it easy to kill. This is of course very dangerous if the jungler at the beginning of the game does not carry until Goldlaner becomes the item.

The last reason is the performance of YSS which is currently not good. After getting a revamp and being frequently picked up, YSS got a fairly large nerf and it continued to make it not so strong anymore.
